Chubby is a textured yarn with characteristic 3-dimensional soft slubs, designed to increase aesthetics of the fabric and provide it body. As per need of the customer, length, thickness and distribution of slubs can be varied. The slubs also add to the fall of the fabric. In knitted fabrics, the slubs provide cloudy effect onto the base of the fabric. We can change the base or slubs to vary the visual presentation of the fabric.

PROCESSING GUIDELINES

- High tension should be avoided in Chubby yarn

- Coarser gauge is recommended due to 3D effect of Chubby

- Operating speeds should be reduced by 10%

- In CD Chubby the slub would pop out when dyed in cationic dyes
